I went a little more casual for church this sunday and wore a super pretty summer top with these super adorable high rise jeans. 

South Dakota Road Trip

In 2020, I reluctantly purchased this camper. However, in July of 2022, I no longer regret that decision. We just got back from a 9 day road trip to South Dakota, and it was amazing. We stayed at Koa Campgrounds and had a wonderful time. 

We stayed 2 night in Wisconsin Dells. I had never been here before, but my kids loved seeing all the tourists attractions. We didn't actually visit any water parks because of having a 1 year old, but they would be great for older kids or preteens. My kids loved the campground swimming pool and splash pad. 

After 2 nights in Wisconsin, we stopped in Sioux Falls for 1 night. The downtown area was BEAUTIFUL. We loved seeing the colors change from Indiana to South Dakota. 

Finally, we arrived at Koa at Mount Rushmore Palmer Gulch. We stayed 4 nights and loved it so much. I felt like I was at summer camp. We did the cowboy chuck wagon dinner and horseback riding. Everything else we did was included in the cost of camping. The kids loved their playground and water slide. 

On the way back, we stopped in Iowa for 1 night then visited the John Deere Headquarters and ate at the Machine Shed restaurant. 

I really don't know if we will ever make it back to South Dakota, but I'm definitely glad we got the opportunity to see it at least once in our lives. The Black Hills are gorgeous.
